Is ForeverSMS free?
Absolutely! It doesn't cost you anything to send text messages to anyone in the US by using our service. It is possible that the recipient may be charged for receiving your message, depending on their wireless plan.
Can I use ForeverSMS from my cell phone?
Yes! If you have a web browser on your cell phone, just navigate to foreversms.com with your mobile browser and send a message just like you would from your computer.
Why is a stranger sending me messages?
Although sending pseudonymous messages is against our terms of service, there are people out there that enjoy breaking the rules. We have taken measures to prevent such things, but we can't catch everyone. It is also possible (although unlikely) that someone accidentally sent a message to the wrong phone number. If the pseudonymous messages become a nuisance, you can always have your mobile phone number be removed from our service.
If ForeverSMS is free for everyone, can't spammers use it to send messages to my cell phone?
We've taken extensive measures to prevent spammers from using our service. However, no service is perfect and it may be possible that spammers may find a way to take advantage of our service. If you do receive any spam on your mobile phone through our service, you can report it to us and if you no longer wish to receive any messages from us at all, you can request that your mobile phone number be removed from our service.
Why do you need my email address?
How else is your friend going to know who sent the message? We only store email addresses for purposes of handling fraud and you'll never get any spam from us.
